A little history
USAgencies Credit Union was created in 1936 as Portland Federal Employee's Credit Union. 45 founding members came together with the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people' to form a financial cooperative that could help provide them with better banking solutions. The resulting credit union's mission—To Provide Solutions to Improve Each Member's Financial Life—still holds true now, as we constantly work to help each member on their path to financial success.
Today, USAgencies Credit Union continues to serve our members with a full spectrum of financial services. We provide our members with anytime-anywhere online and mobile banking, personal one-on-one service, 24-hour phone access, plus access to thousands of ATMs and shared branches.
Why should I join?
When you become a member of USAgencies, you're joining the best member-driven cooperative credit union in the Pacific Northwest. As a not-for-profit financial institution, we return profits to our members in the form of better rates and lower fees, and numerous free or low cost financial services. By democratically electing our directors, you help to guide our activities and protect our shared pool of funds. We're proud of the legacy continuing to be built here, and you should be too.
